Dietary Food for Cats

You have surely heard of people who are allergic to cats. But what about cats that are allergic? Unfortunately this is also quite common, although in most cases we humans are not to blame. Food allergies, digestive and urinary problems, excess weight... All of this can be regulated with the right veterinary diet.

Veterinary diets for cats can help with numerous health problems of our feline companions — but of course we do not use them instead of medication and always consult our veterinarian before feeding!

What veterinary diets for cats are there and what are they for?

We offer a wide range of veterinary diets for cats, intended to support various problems: sensitive skin, sensitive digestion, excess weight, and urinary problems.

Allergies

What are the symptoms of allergies in cats?

If we notice one or more of the following symptoms, it is time to visit the vet: itching, red skin, skin scabs, hair loss, breathing difficulties, frequent sneezing, vomiting, drooling, eye and nose discharge, diarrhoea, urinating outside the litter tray.

What can cause allergies?

The causes of allergies in cats can be very diverse. The most common are: flea allergy, food allergy (the most common allergens are poultry, beef, fish, dairy products and eggs), cleaning products and other chemicals, smoke, and medications.

Food allergies can be prevented by feeding a veterinary diet suitable for our cat — but we must also pay attention to any wet food and treats!
