GENERAL TERMS
The general terms of Mr.Pet online store are in compliance with the Obligation Code of the Republic of Slovenia, the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1), the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce recommendations and the international codes for e-business.
Mr.Pet (www.mrpet.si) online store is managed by Pet Network SI d.o.o. company, seated at Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana. The company is registered in the court register of the District Court in Ljubljana under the number 1/40729/00. Registration number: 2032279000, Tax number: 54536626, phone number: 00 386 (0)1 235 00 00, e-mail address: info@mrpet.si.
The general terms determine the functioning of the online store and the rights and obligations of the user (buyer or consumer) and provider (seller). At the time of the order, the user/buyer is warned each time about the general terms of business and confirms his/her familiarity with them by placing the order.
COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
The provider respects existing consumer protection legislation. The provider is making every effort to fulfil their duty to establish an effective complaint handling system. A complaint is to be submitted via email or in writing to the address of the provider shown on the provider’s web page. The complaint processing procedure is confidential. Therefore, the provider will work to the best of their ability to resolve any dispute by mutual agreement or out-of-court settlement. If, however, this is not possible, the dispute will be settled by a court with the competent jurisdiction in Ljubljana.
OUT-OF-COURT SETTLEMENT OF CONSUMER DISPUTES
In accordance with the statutory arrangement resulting from the Out-of-court Resolution of Consumer Disputes Act, Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on Online Dispute Resolution for consumer disputes (Regulation on consumer ODR), and amending Regulation (EC) No. 2016/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC, Pet Network SI d.o.o. does not recognize any performer of out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes as competent to resolve a consumer dispute which the consumer could have initiated in accordance with the Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes Act. DELIVERY
For the delivery, the customer selects his/her address or enters a different address. In the case of payment in cash, the payer is always the recipient. The customer chooses the delivery method. The delivery of on-line store products is carried out by GENERAL LOGISTICS SYSTEMS d.o.o. (hereinafter GLS d.o.o.), Pošta Slovenije d.o.o., or another delivery service provider, as contracted by Mr.Pet.
The delivery service provider reserves the right to verify, in an appropriate way, the identity of the recipient (access to personal or other documents), as this ensures that the ordered goods are handed over to the right customer. In the case of payment on delivery, the ordered goods are paid upon receipt by the buyer to GLS d.o.o. or to Pošta Slovenije d.o.o. in cash or in other payment method available depending on the manner of the delivery or take over.
Delivery options for Slovenia
For all purchases above the value of € 39.00, delivery is free of charge through the GLS delivery service (applies to GLS home delivery and regular delivery to the GLS package machine). Free delivery does not apply to over-the-counter veterinary medicines, nor are purchases of veterinary medicines counted towards the minimum purchase amount required for free delivery.

THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW FROM THE PURCHASE AND TO RETURN THE GOODS
The consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract, i.e. from an online purchase, within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day when:
the consumer or a third party other than the carrier named by the consumer acquires actual possession of the goods;
the consumer or a third party other than the carrier named by the consumer acquires actual possession of the last piece of goods, if the subject of the contract is several pieces of goods ordered by the consumer in one order;
the consumer or a third party other than the carrier and named by the consumer acquires actual possession of the last shipment or piece of goods, if the delivery of goods consists of several shipments or pieces;
the consumer or a third party other than the carrier and named by the consumer acquires actual possession of the first piece of goods, if the delivery of the goods is regular during a certain period.
In order to exercise the right to withdraw, the consumer must, with an unambiguous statement, inform the company Pet Network SI d.o.o., Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana, e-mail: splet@mrpet.si, of their decision to withdraw from this contract (e.g. by letter sent by post or e-mail). To this end, the consumer may optionally use the model withdrawal form attached (here). Otherwise, for faster processing of the withdrawal, the consumer should state the order number or invoice number in the notification, and in the case of a refund, also name, surname, address, bank account number and name of the bank. Irrespective of the form of cancellation, the consumer must provide the company with a copy of the invoice. In order to take account of the deadline for withdrawing from the contract, it is sufficient that a notice regarding the exercise of the consumer's right to withdraw from the contract is sent before the expiry of the withdrawal period from this contract.
EFFECTS OF THE WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT
If the consumer withdraws from this contract, the company shall, without undue delay, and in any case, reimburse any payments received, including delivery charges, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the notice of withdrawal from this contract (excluding the cost incurred when selecting the type of delivery that is not the cheapest standard delivery form offered by the company). Such reimbursement shall be carried out by the company with the same payment instrument as used in the execution of the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, the consumer does not bear any costs due to this reimbursement. The company may withhold payment until it receives the returned goods or until the consumer sends evidence that the goods have been sent back, depending on which event occurs earlier. The consumer should return or deliver the goods to the company which delivered them to the consumer without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day when the consumer informed the company of his/her withdrawal from the contract. The deadline shall be considered as on time if the consumer sends the goods back before the expiry of the 14-day period.
TERMS OF RETURN OF GOODS (restrictions on the exercise of the right of withdrawal)
The direct costs of returning goods are borne by the consumer.
The consumer is only responsible for the reduced value of the goods in cases of handling of the goods in ways which are not strictly necessary for determining their nature, characteristics and operation. Returned products must be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging.
The possibility of return does not apply:
for quickly perishable goods or those that expire quickly (e.g. frozen food);
for sealed goods which are not suitable for repayment, for reasons of protecting health or hygiene, if the consumer has opened the seal after delivery;
in other cases, in accordance with Article 135 of the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1);
for medicinal products due to the interruption of ensuring traceability and ensuring a constant suitable temperature.
ERROR IN CONFORMITY OF GOODS
The goods are in conformity with the sales contract, in particular when applicable (subjective requirements for the conformity of goods):
corresponds to the description, type, quantity and quality and has the functionality, compatibility, interoperability and other characteristics as required in the sales contract;
it is suitable for a specific purpose for which the consumer needs it and which the consumer informed the seller no later than when concluding the sales contract, and the seller agreed to this;
is supplied complete with all accessories and instructions, including installation instructions, as specified in the sales contract, and
is updated as specified in the sales contract.
In addition to meeting the above requirements, the goods must also (objective requirements for conformity of goods):
correspond to the purposes for which goods of the same type are normally used, whereby, when appropriate, other regulations, technical standards or, in the absence of such technical standards, industry codes of conduct applicable to the individual sector must be taken into account;
be of such quality and correspond to the description of the sample or model that the seller made available to the consumer prior to the conclusion of the sales contract, when applicable;
be supplied together with such accessories, including packaging, installation instructions or other instructions, which the consumer can reasonably expect to receive, where applicable, and
be of such quantities and have characteristics and other characteristics, including in relation to durability, functionality, compatibility and safety, as are usual for goods of the same type and which the consumer can reasonably expect in view of the nature of the goods and having regard to any public statement, given in advertising or labeling by or on behalf of the seller or other persons in the previous links of the contractual chain, including the manufacturer, unless the seller proves that: (i) he did not know about the public statement and could not reasonably be expected to knew, (ii) the public statement was corrected before the conclusion of the sales contract in the same or comparable way as it was given, or (iii) the public statement could not influence the decision to purchase the goods.
Product suitability check
The suitability of the product for normal use shall be assessed against normal goods of the same type and subject to any seller's declaration of the characteristics of the goods provided by the seller or the manufacturer, in particular by advertising, presentation of the product or indications on the goods.
Exercising one’s rights in the case of error in conformity of goods
The buyer must inform the provider of any error in conformity of goods within the statutory deadline, at the buyer’s expense. The notice must contain a precise description of the error in conformity. The buyer must allow the provider to inspect the product.
The rights to be exercised in cases of a error in conformity are defined in more detail by the Consumer Protection Act.

VALIDITY OF THE OFFER
The prices that are valid at the time of order confirmation apply for the purchase. All prices include VAT. Prices can change without prior notice. Prices are valid only for purchases at Mr.Pet on-line store and may differ from regular prices. We reserve the right to change technical descriptions and configurations without prior notice. Images can only be symbolic and do not always reflect the actual situation as a whole.
ARCHIVING THE CONTRACT
The contract concluded between the customer and the seller is archived at the address Pet Network SI d.o.o., Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana. The buyer can obtain a copy of the contract with an e-mail request at: splet@mrpet.si.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Pet Network SI d.o.o, Celovška cesta 258, Ljubljana, undertakes to protect data in accordance with applicable legislation in the field of personal data protection. The personal data obtained, except to the extent expressly provided otherwise in these rules, will not be passed on to third parties.
Unless otherwise specified, the Privacy Policy applies.
a) Online order processing
Personal data obtained during online ordering and / or registration (name, surname, postal address (primary and delivery address), e-mail address, telephone number, time and date of registration and communication archive related to online purchase and other data obtained during registration, such as information about the animals of interest to the user, popular notification method, login password and purchasing data) are used to process the user's order and fulfil the purchase or order (including sending offers, invoices and other information related to the order), and other necessary communication with the user. Registration makes it easier for the user to monitor past purchases and shortens the purchase process. Data obtained for this purpose shall be kept until the fulfilment of the contractual obligation and the expiry of the limitation period (based on a legitimate interest), or cancellation, deregistration or request for erasure in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection Act and the Personal Data Protection Regulation.
In the event that the provision of personal data is necessary for the conclusion and performance of the contract, you must provide personal data; in case you do not provide personal data, the operator will not be able to fulfil the order, as he does not have the necessary data.
The basis for the processing of personal data under this point is the conclusion and implementation of a contract concluded with an online purchase.
b) Answers via the online form
When using the online form on the mrpet.si website, the data (name, surname, e-mail address and telephone numbers) are used to respond to the user. Data obtained for this purpose shall be kept for the period of processing and for a maximum of 3 months after the withdrawal of the consent for data processing for this purpose.
The basis for the processing of personal data under this point is the consent of the individual to communicate via the contact form.
c) Sending e-newsletters:
When subscribing to the e-newsletters on the website mrpet.si, Pet Network SI d.o.o. will use personal data (name, surname, e-mail address, IP, data on animals of interest to the user, in the case of a registered user or club member as well as a membership card, address, telephone and place of registration) provided by the user for the purpose of sending electronic messages (news, advertising messages, notifications about current campaigns, etc.). Data obtained for this purpose are stored until revoked, deregistered or requested for erasure in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection Act and Personal Data Protection Regulation or the achievement of the purpose for which the data were collected.
The basis for the processing of personal data under this point is the consent of the individual to receive e-news.
d) Direct marketing
Personal data (name, surname, postal address, telephone, e-mail address and other data provided at registration) are used for direct marketing purposes: advertising, segmentation and profiling for the purpose of personalized advertising, surveys and remarketing (targeted advertising) via web browsers and social networks. Data obtained for this purpose shall be kept for the period of processing and for a maximum of 3 months after the withdrawal of the consent for data processing for this purpose.
The basis for the processing of personal data under this point is in the consent of the individual to the processing of data for direct marketing.
e) Analysis of shopping habits
Personal data (name, surname, postal address, telephone, e-mail address and other data provided at registration) and data on purchases made are used to analyse purchases and purchasing habits in order to provide better service and offer, to help with business and to profile users and automated decision-making to provide a better online user experience and send customized offers. Data obtained for this purpose shall be kept for the period of processing and for a maximum of 3 months after the withdrawal of the consent for data processing for this purpose.
The basis for the processing of personal data under this point is the consent of the individual to the processing of data for the analysis of purchasing habits.
User rights
The user may at any time request access to the data held about him by Pet Network SI d.o.o. It may also at any time request the rectification, restriction or prevention of use for a particular purpose of processing, erasure or portability of data and lodge an objection with Pet Network SI d.o.o. or lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner. The user may object to the processing of personal data, and also has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.
Users of personal data
Access to personal data is granted only to persons authorized by the controller (e.g. employees) or contractual partners with whom the controller has concluded appropriate contracts for the processing of personal data.
Data can be provided to:
providers of data processing and information services that ensure the smooth operation of the online store and its improvements (server hosting, improving the user experience, navigation, e-mail marketing, …);
marketing agencies for the purpose of remarketing;
contractors who ensure a smooth purchase process (delivery services, etc.), but only to the extent necessary for the successful execution of the order;
authorized institutions, if required by law (court, inspectorate, etc.).
Personal data is not exported to countries outside the EU or the EEA.
Manner of changing, accessing or erasing personal data:
The user can change the data, request access or erasure via the completed (Uniform form), which is published on www.mrpet.si and available at Mr.Pet points of sale and with a request sent to klub@mrpet.si. The form is submitted at the Mr.Pet point of sale or sent to the address Pet Network SI d.o.o., Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana or to the e-mail address klub@mrpet.si. From receiving the e-news, an individual can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe button posted at the foot of each email sent.
The change of the club member's data will be performed within fifteen (15) days from the submission of the data change form (Uniform form) .
Security
Pet Network SI d.o.o. takes measures to ensure the security and prevention of misuse of personal data and undertakes to process, store and protect them on its own or through a contracted processor of personal data in accordance with applicable law.

WEBSITE PRODUCT RATINGS
It is possible to rate the products only by logging into the account in the online store. The provider does not check whether the user who submitted the rating along with the product is also the buyer of the rated product. The user rates the product with stars, namely 1 to 5 stars, with 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest possible rating, and by choosing whether to recommend the product to a friend (without the specified rating, the product cannot be submitted). The average rating is displayed next to the product, which represents the average of all submitted ratings for the individual product from 1 to 5. Comments along with individual ratings are displayed at the bottom of the individual product page. Product rating and publication of product ratings do not affect the contractual relationship between the provider and the user. Reviews are not sponsored. Ratings and opinions are not published automatically; inappropriate and offensive comments are not subject to publication.
By submitting an opinion or comment, the user expressly agrees to the terms of use of his opinion or comment, allows the provider to publish the text on the website and declares that he is the owner of the material and moral copyrights for the written opinions and comments and transfers these rights non-exclusively and without time limit to the provider. The provider has the right to use the content of the opinion or comment indefinitely and for any purpose that is in his business interest, including publication in advertising or other marketing materials.

1. ABOUT CLUB Mr. Pet
a) The General terms of operation for Club Mr. Pet cardholders are the legal basis for business activities with a Club Mr. Pet card (hereinafter referred to as card). By signing an application form to acquire a Club Mr. Pet card, a member confirms his/her knowledge of the club's terms of service and undertakes to comply with these, as listed below. The general terms of the club's activities are published on the www.mrpet.si website and available in Mr. Pet shops.
b) A member of the club can be any natural person having completed sixteen (16) years of age. When enrolling, persons below sixteen (16) years of age must submit the signature of their parents or legal representatives. A Club Mr. Pet card can also be acquired by a legal entity.
c) Membership in the club is free of charge and unconditional (except for filling in an application form), and is valid until a written cancellation by the member of the club or by the issuer in the manner defined in point 10.
d) A person can register in the club via the application form for acquiring a Club Mr. Pet card (hereinafter referred to as the application), available in Mr. Pet shops or the Mr. Pet on-line store on the www.mrpet.si website.
e) The term club member refers to a person who joins the club via an application. A club member is the holder of the membership with whom Mr. Pet directly communicates.
f) The term cardholder refers to the holder of a card with a unique club number to whom the club card was handed over to by a member of the club. Cardholders are both a club member and a person whom a club member gave a small (family) card with a unique barcode for their own use.
2. CLUB Mr. Pet BENEFITS
a) The card allows a cardholder to participate or be included in various benefits entered on the site www.mrpet.si and/or published in Mr. Pet marketing materials, public media or in messages received by members in writing at their home address, e-mail address or GSM. When presenting the card at the time of purchase, cardholders are entitled to more favourable prices in accordance with the advertised campaign, whereby they are granted a bonus on the card or an immediate discount.
b) A bonus is earned by purchasing products and services in Mr. Pet shops, except when purchasing Mr. Pet gift (value) vouchers.
c) Cardholders can use their benefits in Mr. Pet shops in Slovenia.
d) A club member can receive personalized benefits based on the data obtained in accordance with point 7. Offers or benefits received by individual members may vary in the same period of time.
3. CLUB CARD
a) The issuer and the club card owner is Pet Network SI d.o.o., seated at Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (hereinafter referred to as Mr. Pet).
b) A club card is received by each member of the club who duly completes the application and submits it for processing in a Mr. Pet shop, or each customer who logs in or registers on the www.mrpet.si website in the manner defined in the general terms of Mr. Pet online store.
c) After submission of a completed application, the customer receives a set of club cards: a large card and one (1) small card (a plastic pendant with the membership number in barcode form). When registering in the club via the www.mrpet.si website, a member receives this set of cards by post to his/her home address within fifteen (15) days after the application was received.
d) The term club card refers to both cards with the same number in the set of cards. Both cards are eligible to earn and use bonuses. The benefit acquired with one of the cards can be used with both cards at any Mr. Pet shop. Getting bonuses is also possible through smartphones (if a member’s bar code is entered into the phone). How to use the card with a smartphone is described in more detail on the www.mrpet.si website. Bonuses can also be collected through purchases made on the Mr. Pet online store, with the earning and use of bonuses from online purchases.
e) The club card is activated by the cashier upon its issue. A cardholder may present a Club Mr. Pet card when purchasing goods or services at all points of sale in quantities suitable for household consumption.
f) A member of the club may, at their own responsibility, forward the card to selected persons, whereby Mr. Pet does not assume responsibility for the use of the card or the data provided for the use of it through a telephone application.
g) Membership also enables the use of other club benefits that are valid in a given period and listed on the www.mrpet.si website.
4. BONUS (CREDIT) ON THE CARD
a) The club card allows a cardholder to earn and use credit (hereinafter referred to as the bonus) by submitting the card at the time of purchase.
b) Bonus values are placed on the club card in the form of a discount and, when earned or used, they are automatically added or deducted from the club card.
c) It is necessary to submit the club card to earn or use benefits or bonuses.
d) A club member can use club benefits in the online store by registering in the manner defined in the general terms of the Mr. Pet online shop.
e) A bonus can only be obtained at the time of purchase, and not after this.
f) Mr. Pet is not obliged to verify the identity of the cardholder when submitting a club card at the time of purchase.
g) With the accumulated bonus, the cardholder may lower the final payment value for any product or service.
h) The earned bonus can be used from the next day after the purchase has been made. This does not apply to bonuses earned in the online store.
i) A cardholder may use the bonus earned in the current calendar year up to and including the 31st of January the following year within the working hours of each Mr. Pet shop. After that date, all unused bonuses are deleted from the card. Subsequent use or extension of the deadline for using unused bonuses is not possible.
j) In the event that the sum of a purchase is equal to or less than the total value of the bonus on the club card, the cardholder may claim a bonus of 100% of the amount of the invoice. In the event that the final value of the bonus is higher than the purchase value, the difference is not paid in cash, but instead remains on the card.
k) It is not possible to receive cash for the bonus collected on the card.
l) The bonus can be used in part or in full. The bonus collected on one club card can be claimed for each purchase. The bonuses of different cards cannot be added together.
m) A cardholder who wants to return the goods for which a bonus was received on the card is able to receive the entire purchase price; the value of the bonus received by the holder at the time of the purchase of the product is deducted from the balance on the card if the card balance allows it. In the event that the cardholder has already used the bonus, the amount of the refund is reduced by the amount of the bonus received by the holder upon the purchase of the returned item.
n) The balance and validity of the bonus on the card are visible on each bill. The bonus is calculated for an individual product or item on the bill and is rounded to two (2) decimal places.
o) Bonuses earned are within the competence of a club member, and Pet Network SI d.o.o. cannot be held responsible for them.
p) When a club member applies for a new card in the case of theft, loss, damage or other justified reason, the bonus of the old card cannot be used until it is transferred from the old card to the new one. The transfer is made within twenty (20) days, as presented in point 11.d.
p) In the event that misuse with regard to the acquisition and / or in use of a bonus or a misuse of a club card is suspected, then Mr. Pet reserves the right to cancel the card.
5. THE SYSTEM OF BONUSES AND THE CALCULATION OF BONUSES
Bonus scale
a) The bonus scale consists of four rating classes determined by the sum of purchases made with the club card in Mr. Pet shops and the www.mrpet.si online store for a period of 6 months. Collection of purchases is possible only when the card is presented at the time of purchase. If customers do not submit club cards at the time of purchase, the purchase will not be added and the bonus will not be calculated. The rating starts at € 0.00.
b) Classification in a rating class is based on the sum of purchases with the club card in the past 6 months.
c) Rating classes and the related bonuses of the Club Mr. Pet card are shown in the following table.

d) For a member who joined Club Mr. Pet based on an application or via the www.mrpet.si website, the accumulation of purchases and classification into a rating class begins with the first purchase after the subscription and the activation of the card. The value of the current purchase is applicable for classification in a rating class the next calendar day.
6. REGISTRATION IN www.mrpet.si ONLINE STORE
a) An online store is a site where a person can make purchases of items that are presented on it and manages his/her personal data.
b) A first-time purchaser in Mr. Pet online store may be registered in the online store before making his/her first purchase in the manner defined in the general terms of Mr. Pet online store.
c) A current club member logs onto the online shop with a number of Club Mr. Pet card, name and surname. An already registered member of the club logs into the online store with an e-mail address and his/her own chosen password.
d) Purchases carried out in the online store are collected on a club card to be classified in a rating class. A club member can also collect and use bonuses in the online store. A club member in the online store claims club benefits by registering in the online store in the manner defined in the General Terms and Conditions of the Mr.Pet online store. In certain cases, club benefits in physical stores may differ from those online.
7. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
Pet Network SI d.o.o, Celovška cesta 258, Ljubljana, as the controller undertakes to protect the data in accordance with the applicable legislation in the field of personal data protection. Personal data is processed exclusively for predetermined purposes and only in cases where the individual agrees to a specific processing. Collected personal data, unless expressly provided otherwise in these rules, will not be transmitted to third parties.
Purpose of personal data processing
a) Managing Mr.Pet Club
Personal data (name, surname, postal address, telephone and e-mail address) are processed to carry out the activities necessary to provide the benefits offered by membership in the Mr.Pet Club: identification of an individual cardholder, sum of purchases for class allocation for calculation of the bonus and use of the bonus, resolution of possible complaints, possibility of subsequent crediting of bonuses, registration in the member's account online, for annual notification of club members about the status of bonuses and their imminent expiration and other information related to the club's operations. Club membership is not possible without consent to this processing. Data obtained for this purpose shall be kept for the period of processing and for a maximum of 5 years after the withdrawal of the consent for data processing for this purpose.
b) Direct marketing
Personal data (name, surname, postal address, telephone and e-mail address) are used for direct marketing purposes: advertising, segmentation and profiling for the purpose of personalized advertising, surveys and for remarketing (targeted advertising) via web browsers and social networks. Data obtained for this purpose shall be kept for the period of processing and for a maximum of 3 months after the withdrawal of the consent for data processing for this purpose.
c) Analysis of shopping habits
Personal data (name, surname, postal address, telephone and e-mail address) and data on purchases made are used to analyse purchases and purchasing habits in order to provide better service and offer, to help with business and to profile users and automated decision-making to provide better online user experience and sending customized offers. Data obtained for this purpose shall be kept for the period of processing and for a maximum of 3 months after the withdrawal of the consent for data processing for this purpose.
User’s rights
The user may at any time request access to the data stored about him/her by Pet Network SI d.o.o. It may also at any time request the rectification, restriction or prevention of use for a particular purpose of processing, erasure or transfer of data and lodge an objection with Pet Network SI d.o.o. oz. lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner. In the event that the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of consent, the user also has the right to withdraw the consent. The method of changing, accessing or erasing personal data is defined in points 8 and 10 of the General terms of operation for Club Mr. Pet cardholders.
Security
Pet Network SI d.o.o. takes measures to ensure the security and prevention of misuse of personal data and undertakes to process, store and protect them by himself or through a contractual processor of personal data in accordance with applicable law and not to transmit it to third parties.
Pet Network SI d.o.o. does not transmit personal data to unauthorized third parties. Data can be provided to:
providers of data processing and information services that ensure the smooth operation of the online store and its improvements (server hosting, improving the user experience, navigation, e-mail marketing, …);
marketing agencies for the purpose of remarketing;
contractors who ensure a smooth purchase process (delivery services, etc.), but only to the extent necessary for the successful execution of the order;
authorized institutions, if required by law (court, inspectorate, etc.).
Personal data are stored and processed in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia and are not exported to countries outside the EU or the EEA.
By signing the application form or confirming via the website, the user guarantees that the information provided is true and accurate and allows Pet Network SI d.o.o. as the card issuer, it verifies the data on the card and processes it electronically for the purposes for which he has confirmed the processing.

8. PERSONAL DATA MODIFICATIONS
The individual has the right to unsubscribe from each individual purpose of processing defined above, separately. In the event that an individual revokes the consent to processing for the purpose of running the club, he/she also revokes the membership in the Mr.Pet Club.
If an individual wants to cancel the use of data for the purpose of Managing Mr.Pet Club, he or she can do so by
a) registering on the website mwww.mrpet.si and arrange the consent for "Managing Pet Club" in "my account",
b) requests the Form for arranging consents at the cash register of any Mr.Pet store or via the address klub@mrpet.si.
If an individual wants to cancel the use of data for the purpose of direct marketing, he can do so by
a) registering on the website www.mrpet.si and arrange the consent for "Direct marketing" in "my account",
b) requests the Form for arranging consents at the cash register of any Mr.Pet store or via the address klub@mrpet.si.
If an individual wants to cancel the use of data for the purpose of analysing shopping habits, he or she can do so by
a) registering on the website www.mrpet.si and arrange the consent in "Analysis of shopping habits" in “my account”,
b) requests the Form for arranging consents at the cash register of any Mr.Pet store or via the address klub@mrpet.si.
The withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until its withdrawn.
Data change
User may modify the personal data by registering at www.mrpet.si with the help of the Form for changing data, available at all Mr.Pet points of sale, at www.mrpet.si (here). and via a request sent to klub@mrpet.si.
Change of personal name
The user can request it in case:
a) a typographical error occurred while entering the data upon enrolment and the user requests a grammatical correction of the name. He can do this without additional documentation, with a message sent to klub@mrpet.si or with the Change of data form, which he receives at the Mr.Pet point of sale or at www.mrpet.si (here).
b) the user has changed his personal name to another personal name; in this case, in addition to the request to change the personal name, he must also present a valid identity document.
Only a club member can require the data on his/her own card to be changed. The personal data of the person requesting the change of data must match the data of the club member; otherwise, the requested changes will not be made.
Mr. Pet has the right to request access to a customer’s identity document in order to confirm the details match the data in its records.
In order to provide the benefits offered by club membership, the user must provide any changes to their personal data. Pet Network SI d.o.o is not liable for any damage caused by changes or incorrect personal data of the user.
A club member’s data will be changed within fifteen (15) days of the submission of the data change form.
Access to personal data
The user can submit a request for access to personal data on the basis of the completed Access Form, which is available at Mr.Pet points of sale, and at www.mrpet.si. The form is submitted at the point of sale Mr.Pet or sent to the address Pet Network SI d.o.o, Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana or by e-mail klub@mrpet.si.
9. COMMUNICATION
Mr. Pet will inform the club member about any news, benefits and other information through the contact information provided by the club member in his/her application.
10. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP and ERASURE OF DATA
a) A club member may terminate membership on the basis of a completed termination of membership form, available at a Mr. Pet point of sale, at www.mrpet.si (here) and or with a request sent to klub@mrpet.si. The form is submitted at Mr.Pet point of sale or sent to the address Pet Network SI d.o.o., Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana, or to the email address klub@mrpet.si.
b) Mr. Pet deactivates membership within fifteen (15) days from the date the termination form is received. Both cards from the set of cards are deactivated.
c) Any unused bonus on the card is irreversibly cancelled at the time of deactivation.
d) When deactivating the cards, membership in the club and all membership benefits are terminated.
Erasure of personal data
The user can submit a request for erasure of personal data on the basis of the completed Erasure Form, which is available at Mr.Pet points of sale and at www.mrpet.si. The form is submitted at the Mr.Pet point of sale or sent to the address Pet Network SI d.o.o, Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana or to the e-mail address klub@mrpet.si. Erasure of personal data terminates club membership.
11. A LOST OR STOLEN CARD AND ITS BLOCKING
a) In case of the loss of any card from the set, card blocking is possible in the following ways:
(1) In a Mr. Pet shop, through completing the blocking (implemented within seven (7) days),
(2) With a written request to the email address klub@mrpet.si (blocking will be carried out within forty-eight (48) hours of the message being received), or
(3) With a phone call to 01 507 4000 (blocking will be made within twenty-four (24) hours of the message being received).
b) In cases of loss, destruction or damage to the card, a club member is entitled to a new card package. The club member completes a card replacement form, available at all Mr. Pet points of sale or with a request sent to klub@mrpet.si. The form is submitted at the point of sale Mr.Pet or sent to the address Pet Network SI d.o.o., Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana or to the e-mail address klub@mrpet.si. Mr. Pet can charge the cost of making a new card to the customer who requested it. The price list for making a new card is published in the general terms and conditions of the Mr.Pet club on the website www.mrpet.si.
c) The new card is activated when issued. At the same time, the old card is deactivated and no longer suitable for use.
d) The benefits on the old club card which have been earned by the cardholder and not used by any person until the moment of blocking/deactivation are automatically transferred to the new card within twenty (20) days from activation of the new card.
g) In the event that the club card is in any way misappropriated from the cardholder, Pet Network SI d.o.o. does not take any responsibility for the use and possible misuse of the card, i.e. the use of bonuses and benefits by third parties.
12. LEGAL PROTECTION
a) In the event of force majeure and technical difficulties that impede the smooth functioning of the computer system, the use and earning of bonuses and other club benefits are not provided to cardholders by Mr. Pet for the time period when systemic interruptions have occurred.
b) Pet Network SI d.o.o. reserves the right to supplement and amend these general terms. Any modifications thereof will be publicly posted on the www.mrpet.si website. If a cardholder uses the card after the modifications have been published, it is considered that they are informed of and agree with them.
Pet Network SI d.o.o. reserves the right to cancel Club Mr. Pet cards and any associated benefits. The members shall be notified thereof by information posted on the www.mrpet.si website and/or by email.
c) Any dispute between a club member and the card issuer shall be settled by the competent court in Ljubljana.

Validity of the general terms: from 1.3.2024 until a change or cancellation.
With the entry into force of these general terms, the terms of membership of Club Mr. Pet, which were valid and published on www.mrpet.si website until 29.2.2024, completely cease to apply.

General conditions for the processing of personal data
We are aware that the protection of personal data is a fundamental right of every individual to whom personal data relates. When providing personal data, the user of the website (hereinafter: the user) confirms that he/she is familiar with the general terms and conditions of the website and the processing of personal data, that the personal data is true and accurate, and allows Pet Network SI d.o.o., Celovška cesta 258, 1000 Ljubljana, registration number: 2032279000, tax number: SI 54536626 (hereinafter: the controller) as the controller to process personal data for the purposes for which they were collected.
The user can regularly monitor any changes to the general terms and conditions and processing of personal data at this address: https://www.mrpet.si/en-us/izjava-o-zasebnosti-s-384.aspx.
As the controller of personal data, we undertake to process the personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, hereinafter: the Regulation).
In accordance with the Regulation, the controller has also appointed data protection officer, who you can contact by writing to: dpo@mrpet.si or Pet Network SI d.o.o., Celovška 258, 1000 Ljubljana.
Processing of personal data
The controller processes the following personal data and for the following purposes:
Mr.Pet online store, www.mrpet.si
The controler collects the following data: name and surname, e-mail address, contact telephone number, primary address and delivery addresses, time and date of registration and archive of communication related to online purchase and other data entered by the user when registering on the website (see section Registration).
The controller processes the collected personal data on the basis of a contract, namely for the purpose of fulfilling the purchase or order (including sending offers, invoices and other information related to the order) and other necessary communication with the user.
In the event that the provision of personal data is necessary for the conclusion and performance of the contract, you must provide personal data; in case you do not provide personal data, the controller will not be able to fulfil the order, as it does not have the necessary data.
The controller also uses the collected personal data on the basis of consent for the analyses of the user's purchasing habits and for the purpose of direct and targeted marketing (see section Registration). The user may at any time request in writing that the controller permanently or temporarily ceases to use personal data for this purpose.
Subscription to e-newsletters
The user can subscribe to the e-newsletters, with which the controller, based on his/her consent until the cancellation, informs him about the news in the offer in the online store and at other points of sale, about marketing activities and other promotions.
By subscribing to the e-news, the controller collects the following personal data: name, surname, e-mail address, IP, data on animals of interest to the user, and in case the user registers as a registered user, also the address and telephone number.
After sending the form with the e-mail address, the user receives a confirmation message to the specified address. After confirming the message, the user is subscribed to the e-news until cancelled. The user can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the "LOGOUT" button in the sent e-mail or by sending a request to dpo@mrpet.si and requesting that the personal data controller permanently ceases to use his personal data for this purpose.
Registration
As part of the registration, the controller processes the following personal data, which the user enters in the application form: name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address, information on animals of interest to the user, popular notification method, password for registration and purchase data.
The controller uses the entered user data to process the user's order. Registration makes it easier for the user to monitor past purchases and shortens the purchase process.
Based on the user's consent, the controller processes his/her personal data within the registration also for the purpose of:
analysis of user’s experience for improvement of service (to analyse purchases and purchasing habits in order to provide a better service and offer, to help business and to profile users and automated decision making to provide a better online user experience and send customized offers) and
marketing analyses that will enable the preparation of appropriate offers and improvements in the sales process (for the purposes of direct marketing: advertising, segmentation and profiling for the purpose of personalized advertising, surveying and remarketing (targeted advertising) via web browsers and social networks).
As part of the registration or user account, the user can also upload a photo of his pet. By uploading the photo, he also gives his consent to the processing of this personal data for the purpose of publishing the photo when rating and commenting on the product, if the user rates and comments on the product. A user can register even if he does not upload a photo.
A registered user can also rate products. The personal name (without surname) of the registered user is used to submit the rating, and the user, when rating the product (with 1 to 5 stars, with 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest possible rating) and information on whether he would recommend the product to a friend (without the specified product rating) cannot be submitted), also give a descriptive opinion about the product, enter the pet's name and upload a photo of the pet with the product. By giving a rating and providing information, the registered user gives consent to the publication of the rating, descriptive comment and photo of the pet when the comment is displayed next to the rated and commented product, and to the processing of personal data for this purpose.
In the event that the user wishes to delete the user account, the e-mail sent toinfo@mrpet.si or dpo@mrpet.simust contain the following information: name and surname of the user, address and e-mail address with which the user is registered; the message must be sent from the e-mail address with which the user is registered as a registered member and contain a request for deletion.
Mr.Pet Club
In case of joining the Mr.Pet Club, the controller processes the user's personal data. Details on the processing of personal data within the Mr.Pet Club can be found in the General terms of operation for Club Mr.Pet cardholders, which are available at: https://www.mrpet.si/en-us/splosni-pogoji-kluba-s-130.aspx. Unless otherwise specified in the General Terms and General terms of operation for Club Mr.Pet cardholders, this Privacy Policy applies.
Job candidates
If you respond to our advertisement for a job position or otherwise submit a job application, your personal data will be processed on the basis of the Employment Relations Act for the purpose of selecting a candidate for a job at the controller.
In this regard, the following personal data are processed: first and last name, address, date of birth, education, work experience, telephone number, e-mail, the position to which the job seeker is applying, additional skills and other information provided by the job seeker on the application job seeker.
The data is kept for the duration of the candidate selection process and further on the basis of legitimate interest until the expiry of the limitation period for claims of unselected candidates. The data of the selected candidate is managed within the data of persons who are in a working relationship with the controller.
Cookies

User’s rights
In relation to his/her personal data the user has the rights presented below. The user exercises his/her rights by sending an e-mail to the controller at dpo@mrpet.si.
The controller ensures the exercise of the user's rights immediately or within one month of receiving the request. In the event of complexity and a large number of requests, the controller may extend the deadline for exercising the user's rights by a maximum of two additional months and inform the user thereof, together with the reasons for the delay, within one month of receiving the request.
If there is any doubt as to the identity of the user submitting the request in respect of any of the rights, the controller may request the provision of additional information necessary to confirm the identity of the user.
Where the user's requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular because they are repetitive, the controller may charge a reasonable fee, taking into account the cost of providing information or communication or implementing the requested action, or refuse to act on the request.
Right to access to data
The user has the right to obtain confirmation from the controller whether his/her personal data are being processed in relation to him/her and, where applicable, access to personal data and information provided for in the Regulation. The user can send the request by filling in the form Request for acquaintance with personal data, available on this page here, and forward it to the controller at dpo@mrpet.si.
Right to rectification
The user has the right to request the rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete personal data at any time in accordance with Article 16 of the Regulation.
Right to erasure
The user may at any time submit a request for the erasure of his/her personal data. Taking into account the individual request and Article 17 of the Regulation, the controller erases personal data.
The right to restriction of processing
The user may at any time submit a request for the controller to restrict the processing. The controller is obliged to comply with the provisions of Article 18 of the Regulation.
Right to data portability
The user has the right to receive personal data concerning him/her held by the controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit those data on to another controller without the controller hindering this. The controller shall comply with the provisions of Article 20 of the Regulation.
Right to object
The user has the right to object at any time to the processing of his/her personal data on the grounds of legitimate interests or for the purposes of direct marketing, including profiling, for reasons related to his/her particular situation, all in accordance with the provisions of Article 21 of the Regulation.
The right to withdraw consent
The user also has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data, in the manner set out above. The withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent before its withdrawal.
Data security
The data provided by the user via forms on the website or in any other way (via e-mail, telephone, etc.) is confidential and is treated in accordance with applicable law. The controller carefully protects personal data and prevents their misuse. The method of personal data protection has been defined by the controller through internal acts.
If the user believes that there has been a violation of personal data protection, he/she can report this or lodge a complaint with the supervisory body (Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, gp.ip@ip.rs.si).
Users of personal data
The controller does not transmit on personal data to unauthorized third parties. Access to personal data is granted only to persons authorized by the controller (e.g. employees) or contractual partners with whom the controller has concluded appropriate contracts for the processing of personal data.

3. Legal basis and purposes of processing personal data:
The operator carries out video surveillance in certain branches based on the legitimate interest of the operator. Video surveillance is carried out i) for the purposes of protecting people and property and ii) to ensure control of entry or exit to or from business premises and in business premises. The implementation of video surveillance for these purposes is necessary for the purposes of (a) protecting legal assets - stocks of goods, (b) controlling the entry of unauthorized persons into the premises, (c) preventing theft of goods in branches and (d) proving the quantity of goods received and the physical condition of the shipment upon receipt.
4. Users of personal data:
Personal data obtained through video surveillance may only be processed by the company's authorized employees or responsible persons who can be reached at the contact details listed above.
5. Transfer of personal data to third countries or international organizations:
Personal data is stored and processed in the Republic of Slovenia and is not exported to countries outside the EU or EEA.
6. Personal data retention period:
Personal data obtained through video surveillance is stored for one month (recordings are deleted or overwritten monthly) or, in the case of a recording of an incident, it is stored until the end of the procedure conducted due to the incident.
7. Other information:
Automated decision-making, including profiling, is not carried out. Personal consent to data processing is not required and there is no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data; the individual has the right not to enter the area, premises or facility in which video surveillance is carried out. Unusual further processing is not carried out. There are no special effects of the processing, in particular further processing.
8. Individual rights:
In relation to personal data, an individual has the right to access or be informed about their personal data, the right to correct their personal data, the right to erase their personal data, the right to restrict the processing of personal data, the right to receive personal data and transmit it to another controller, and the right to object to the processing of personal data. Whistleblower Protection Act
On 23 February 2023, the Whistleblower Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 16/23) entered into force, introducing measures to protect persons who report violations of regulations in force in the Republic of Slovenia that they have learned about in their work environment.
In accordance with legal obligations, the company Pet Network SI doo has adopted rules that describe the application procedure.
The reporting party may submit a report on a violation of a regulation in force in the Republic of Slovenia, which he or she has learned about in the working environment of Pet Network SI doo, to the appointed confidant or, in her absence, to the deputy confidant:
