Room cleanliness Is your puppy peeing on the carpet?

Puppies cannot yet hold and control their needs, so accidents happen from time to time. Don't get angry with them. Take your puppy to the toilet immediately after a meal, after playing, or when he wakes up. In addition to regular outings, we recommend that you offer him a suitable place in the room where he can relieve himself when it is too late to take him outside. You can help him get used to room cleanliness with absorbent pads, training drops, and of course, praise and treats.

Healthy and tasty food Is your pup a picky eater?

Our task is to always choose the right diet for the puppy, which will meet its needs for healthy development. Sometimes, however, the puppy refuses food, in which case we can address the problem of not eating by imitating its natural behavior; searching - reward. We offer the food after or during an activity (play, walk). Food hiding toys are also an excellent solution, which make the dog think, activate it and stimulate its appetite. If the dog does not touch the food in the bowl, we remove it and offer it only when it is time for the next meal. Sometimes, however, it is only necessary to change the flavor or brand of the food offered.

Walking on a leash Is your puppy pulling on the leash?

Walking on a leash is one of the basic skills of any well-behaved dog. Regardless of its size, age, and your lifestyle, a dog on a leash must be manageable so that it does not endanger itself or its handler with sudden pulls. What could be worse than an unpleasant walk when your dog is constantly pulling on the leash, and instead of enjoying the fresh air, you are worried about whether your hands will withstand the pulling force of an enthusiastic furry friend? Before you start learning, check that you have the right equipment. You will need a collar that fits your dog well and a slightly longer leash. Treats to reward correct behavior will also come in handy when learning. These should be small so that the dog does not get distracted from learning for too long by chewing.

Getting used to solitude Does your puppy bark when he's home alone?

A puppy that is not yet used to being alone can develop many unwanted and harmful behaviors out of distress, such as barking, whining, scratching, biting and destroying furniture. Therefore, do not delay in accustoming him to solitude! Slowly and patiently accustom your puppy to a few hours spent alone at home. We recommend that you limit his space, the easiest way being a crate. We accustom him to it gradually and with a lot of positive motivation, and he will soon accept it as his resting place. Before leaving your puppy alone, it is important to tire him out with a long and active walk. This way, he will be more than welcome to have a peaceful sleep during your absence. However, do not show too much emotion towards your puppy when leaving and arriving home; let him understand that his stay in the crate is nothing special.

Biting relief Does your puppy like to chew on shoes?

Puppies' gums are very itchy during teething, so any object is a great way to relieve the itch. Even being left alone for hours can be stressful for a puppy, which can lead to the destruction of objects in your home. To prevent biting during teething and when you are away, we recommend using devices that prevent biting on unwanted objects. They will make it easier to live with your furry friend, save you a lot of bad temper, and help your puppy prevent potential health problems. We recommend using a quality toy to massage and strengthen your puppy's itchy gums. You can also distract him with dried meat chews, which, in addition to keeping him busy, also provide mechanical teeth cleaning. We also have an anti-bite spray that is designed to prevent biting on unwanted objects. Don't forget about training in a dog school.
